Location
Valentia Island is accessible by road bridge from Portmagee and by car ferry from Reenard Point, Cahersiveen. The ferry crossing takes 5 minutes and operates a continuous shuttle service, with a five minute crossing, 7 days a week from April to October.
Knightstown is the main hub of activity on the Island, situated in a prime location on the Wild Atlantic Way and just 3 kilometres off the Ring of Kerry.
There are plenty opportunities to sit back and relax, and enjoy a drink, lunch or dinner in many of its unique coffee shops, bars and restaurants.
