Valentia Island Caravan & Camping is nestled in quiet surroundings, just 400m from Knightstown village, making it a perfect base to enjoy a unique holiday experience.
Valentia Island
Welcome to our beautiful island just off the coast of the Iveragh peininsula . We are also located on the Ring of Kerry ,wild Atalantic Way and we are also included in the Skelligs Ring.
Location
Valentia Island is accessible by road bridge from Portmagee and by car ferry from Reenard Point, Cahersiveen. The ferry crossing takes 5 minutes and operates a continuous shuttle service, with a five minute crossing, 7 days a week from April to October.
Campsite is Now Closed
Valentia Island Caravan & Camping is closed from 1st October 2024 until 1st April 2025
We will commence bookings for season 2025 from January 2025.

Valentia Island Caravan and Camping is a family friendly park, situated on the WILD ATLANTIC WAY and just 400m from Knightstown village.
We are Irelands most South Westerly park lying off the Iveragh Peninsula in the south west of Kerry, making it an ideal base for exploring the Islands natural beauty.

Our campground area can accommodate all size tents (levy applied to extra large tents). Car parking is close to your tent. These pitches are close to the facilities building and playground area and are ideal for families.

Our campground area can accommodate all size tents (levy applied to extra large tents). Car parking is close to your tent. These pitches are close to the facilities building and playground area and are ideal for families. Please note our campground is also located beside the main road which can be busy during peak season.

Motorhome, Campervan only (T1-T5)
These gravel hardstands can accommodate a Motorhome, Campervan only. Each pitch has an electric point and a fresh water tap with room for an awning or pop up tent beside you. All pitches are close to the facilities building.

Caravan, motorhome, campervan (T6-T16)
These gravel hardstands can accommodate a caravan, motorhome and campervan. Each pitch has an electric point and a fresh water tap with room for an awning or pop up tent beside you. These pitches are a little further back from the front of the Park and facilities building.
